The Fund for Humanitarian Assistance to the Chechen Republic strives
seeks to establish partner relations with NGOs from SEE and CEE countries
particularly, those "experienced [in] ethnic conflicts and violence." The
fund is concerned with networking youth NGOs from the Chechen Republic,
engaging them in regional policy issues so as "to initiate their active part
in reconstruction." The Fund was created in 2000 at the N. Miklukho-Maklai
Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Chechnya Weekly, perhaps the most up-to-date source of information on
the Chechnya conflict in English. The website has archived back issues from
late 2000 to the present.

Military Conflict in the Northern Caucasus is a site
maintained by the
Memorial organization, and it features some important documents in
English, but most pages are in Russian. Daily logs of information are
produced by offices in Chechnya, and there is an extensive set of links to other
sites on Chechnya. See also the organization's
