CED Internship 2001

Program information

CED Internship is an exchange program that provides young people from
NGOs in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Macedonia and
Bosnia and Herzegovina the opportunity to take part in the activity
of the Euroregional Center for Democracy, in order to exchange
experience, knowledge and skills.

Internship 2001 is a tool for creating contacts and developing future
cross-border partnership projects between NGOs and institutions in
the region; it is an opportunity for professional collaboration and
for building strong institutional connections. The program aims at
becoming a model of transparency for the civil society of the region.

Structure

The participants in the Internship program will be part of the
Euroregional Center for Democracy team for a period of one month and
will cooperate in the day-to-day management of CED's projects.

The period for the second session of the Internship program is: November 5th-December 2nd, 2001

Applicant Profile

The applicant:

* has to be an active member of a registered NGO from one of the
following countries: Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Bulgaria,
Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

* must have very good command of English language.

* has to be dedicated to improving his/her organization's functioning
as well as his/her organizational, project management and
communication skills.

Conditions

* The Euroregional Center for Democracy offers full boarding in
Timisoara for the Internship period.

The Application will consist of:

* Curriculum Vitae (with a recent Photo)

* Motivation Letter

* Letter of Recommendation 

* Presentation of the NGO.
