USIA is currently compiling a listing of media training opportunities
available to broadcast journalists (radio and television) in the NIS
(excluding the Baltics). The final product will act as a practical
guide for NIS broadcast journalists who seek training in their field, and
will be available at USIS centers and media centers across the FSU to
distribute to interested parties.
The information we are looking for is very specific, and is available in
a questionnaire format that can be filled out in 10 minutes or less and
be returned by fax or e-mail. Or if you prefer, the pertinent
information can be collected over the phone.
Your assistance in this project would be greatly appreciated. If your
organization administers a program that provides any kind of training to
NIS broadcast journalists, or if you know of an organization that does
which we should target, please contact :
