The Center for Support of an Antifascist Coalition
Announces an Essay Contest Dedicated to the
50th Anniversary of the Victory of the
Great Patriotic War
Essay Themes:
1. Russia and Fascism (The Past and the Present).
2. Is Fascism Possible in Russia?
3. What is My Understanding of the Word Fascism.
4. Individual and Fascism.
(Authors may use scientific and other works, journal and
newspaper articles, family archives, personal impressions,
etc.)
The contest is for students from 7-11 grades.
Form of the contest:
Homework (with possible assistance of other family members)
Form of the essays:
1. Volume -- 3 to 8 handwritten pages or 2 to 5 typed.
2. The title page should indicate name, home address,
telephone number, school, and grade.
Essays are being accepted until April 25, 1995.
Announcement of the results and prizes will be made before
May 9, 1995.
First Prize 200 thousand rubles
Two Second Prizes 150 thousand rubles each
Three Third Prizes 100 thousand rubles each
Seven Recognition Awards 50 thousand rubles each
and other Special Prizes awarded by the contest committee
Contest is being held with the cooperation of the �Civil
Society� fund.
