A newly formed public organization in Kyizyil, Tuva Republic, is
looking for groups working to protect national cultures and
promote them.

Kyizyil is the geographic center of the Asian continent. A
number of their national holidays and traditions are connected
with this geographic locale. They would like to contact other
groups located in geographic centers around the world (i.e.
Rugby, S. Dakota the center of the North American continent) to
exchange traditions and experience.

The initiative group of this organization includes people from
several different sectors of society - scientists, businessmen,
politicians, teachers, etc.

If you have information on groups in South Dakota or working on
projects to promote local cultures, please contact Valerie at
