What's New at the CCSI Website!
Over the past few months, we have made many changes to the Center for
Civil Society Website. We invite you to visit the website, and use the
new features. Some of the more recent changes include:
* A search engine that allows you to search the entire CCSI Website by
word, organization name, or phrase and choose the links that are of
interest to you.
* A new feature on the publications page that makes ordering even easier:
An on-line form is now available which allows visitors to order our
publications directly over the Internet.
* A section in Russian has been added to the site. It is currently
available in KOI8, Windows and DOS fonts. At this time, the Russian
section includes the "Internet for Journalists" publication in its
entirety, and an introduction to CCSI, but we expect this section to
expand quickly in the coming months.
* Finally, we have begun updating the Civil Society: USA section. Civil
Society: USA is a project of CCSI designed to acquaint citizens of other
nations with the large and creative role that private voluntary
organizations play in America. The organizations are grouped into 17
different categories. Most recently, we have added an introduction to the
American "third sector" as well as an alphabetical listing of all the
organizations in CS:USA section.
When you visit, always make sure you drop by the "New files at this site"
under the "What's New at CCSI" link from the home page. "New files at
this site" keeps a running list of the most recently updated files added
to our pages.
