>From May 21 through July 3, Dr. Erdener Kaynak, Professor of Marketing at
Penn State University will be visiting Bishkek. Dr. Kaynak is Director of
the International Management Devel- opment Association (IMDA),
Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of East-West Business, and Executive Editor
for the Haworth Interna- tional Business Journals. He has substantial
experience in pub- lishing and advising, and has completed projects in 40
countries on 5 continents.
While in Bishkek, Dr. Erdener has indicated that he would be
pleased to meet with interested parties, to engage in projects of
mutual interest. Among the possible projects/activities:
* research collaboration/joint grant writing
* case writing initiatives
* development of case teaching seminars/executive training
* consultation and advising on program/course development and re-
structuring
* presentations on international marketing, export marketing,
strategic marketing, tourism marketing, consumer behavior
Perhaps some members of the list at internet sites in Central
Asia will want to contact Dr. Kaynak during his visit to Bishkek.
He will be based at the Bishkek International School of Manage-
ment and Business, 237 Panfilov Street, 720040 Bishkek, Kyrgyz
