The Information Consulting Center (ICC) at Samarkand State Uni-
versity is an independent, non-commercial organisation which
distributes of different authentic information for local people,
proposing of consultations and contribution to the development of
the democratic reforms in the republic.

ICC offers the following services:

* commercial, scientific, and educational information;
* consultation regarding establishment of foreign partnerships,
  funds, and small businesses;
* legal consultations helping non-governmental organisations
  (NGOs) and small/medium-sized businesses operate independently.

The ICC supports, and has closes working relationships with,
noncommercial and nongovernment organisations. ICC has substantial
experience in organising personnel training and business seminars
for NGOs. It also publishes its own newspaper "Information for
Initiatives" and a supplement for NGOs - "Grassroots," and has
access to local television outlets.

ICC is interested in long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation
with organizations interested in Uzbekistan and Central Asia. If
