Penn devoted to Social and Economic Development. PRAXIS consists
of both original documents and pointers to a vast array of re-
sources related to social and economic development. PRAXIS is
especially suitable for use by educators and students engaged in
research on social development.
PRAXIS can be accessed using either Lynx, Mosaic, Netscape, or
other WWW software at the following address:

Analyses and viewpoints from the Overseas Development Council, a
private, non-profit international development policy research

the Council's Web site:
ODC's web site includes previews, summaries, and full texts of
analytical and opinion pieces covering a range of development
topics, such as: peacebuilding and reconstruction; democratiza-
tion; the role of the World Bank, IMF, UN and other multilateral
institutions in development; the implications of the internation-
al trade system for development; the link between environmental
protection and development; development strategies; and the U.S.
foreign aid program and policies.
Also on the web site is ODC's staff list, including biographies
and areas of expertise.
