Subject: ARNOVA conference-call for papers
Friends:
The Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations (ARNOVA) is
accepting papers for their annual conference. The deadline is soon--March
15. Thought this might be a good announcement for civilsoc. I plan to add
the conference to my collection of public administration information.

Omni Severin Hotel, Indianapolis
ARNOVA invites one-page proposals for research papers on any topic related
to nonprofit organizations, voluntary action, philanthropy or citizen
participation. Proposals are welcome from scholars and practitioners in
all disciplines and about all parts of the world.
In addition to proposals on the topics listed above, we invite proposals
for a specific focus area on religion. Possible topics include the role of
religious organizations in service provision, organizational aspects of
church activity, religious approaches to giving and volunteering, and
relations between church and state in the United States and other

Graduate students are encouraged to submit proposals based on their
dissertation research.
Proposals will be evaluated on a competitive basis. The program committee
will give special consideration to proposals for entire sessions that
include three or four papers together with suggestions for an appropriate
session chair and discussant.
Proposals must include the following items:
