Grants for Antinuclear Activists in the NIS and EE
The Nuclear Information and Resource Service (NIRS) has started a new
project to assist public antinuclear movement in Eastern Europe and NIS.
As a part of the project a grant program for antinuclear initiatives of
environmental NGOs will be started in the middle or the end of spring,
1997. The grants rates are from $500 to $2,000. Organization and direct
actions projects will have an advantage.
