Subject: Looking for Friends and Partners
Dear Collegues,
We represent a Belarussian Non-profit organization, a
grassroots movement actively involved in the creation
and development of the third sector in Belarus, regardless
of the critical political and social difficulties. One of
the key factors of the work of our organization is that
we are in the area most traumatized by the results of the
disaster at the Chernobyl Atomic Energy Power Plant.
We are working with in cooperation with other NGOs in a
number of joint projects in the following areas
* Ecology
* Environmental Protection
* Health Education (AIDS, Alcholism, Quiting Smoking and more)
* Political Sciences
* Sociology
* Rule of Law
* Administrative Education
* International Social Relations,
In cooperatation with the Soros Foundation, The Eurasia
Foundation, ISAR and others. At the present time the fulfillment
of many projects is rather difficult, a result of the
almost complete shutdown of the Belarusian Soros Foundation,
whose financing made possible the the fulfillment of our ideas
and created a environment that catylized new and interesting
initiatives.
We appeal to you with a request cooperation and for the needed
financing in the areas of our work. We are experienced and
compliant with standards of western practices.
It would be very kind if you were to send us the needed
materials and information for applying for grants and creation
of new contacts.
Sincerely Yours,
Dr. Yuri Voronezhtsev
