      The ARD/Checchi Rule of Law Consortium, an international consulting
      group currently implementing the USAID-funded Rule of Law Program in
      Ukraine is a recruiting candidates for a project management position
      in Kiev, Ukraine. The ROLC seeks an innovative, creative individual
      to oversee roll out of a new component to the Rule of Law contract in

      Ukraine. The component is designed to address the grass-roots,
demand
      side of estabiling rule of law in Ukraine, through strengthening
civic
      organizations, building advocacy capacity and using local media for
      on-going public education campaign. Position available immediately.

      
      Qualifications include:
      
      --previous foreign aid, preferably USAID, project management
      experience.
      
      --experience on the practical and conceptual level with the issues
      surrounding the development of civil society in the NIS.
      
      --experience working with media, preferably in the NIS, 1) to promote

      public service messages and values, and 2) to develop innovative
      partnerships and reliable distribution channels.
      
      --experience living and working in the NIS, and in negotiating
      successful relationships with local organizations and businesses.
      
     --fluency in Russian and/or Ukrainian.

     --familiarity and/or experience in administration of justice or rule
of law in the NIS or elsewhere recommended, but not required.
