HIGH SCHOOL LEGAL EDUCATION PROJECT
ON THE ROLE OF LAW IN A MARKET ECONOMY
for Grades 7-11
ONE YEAR POSITION
MOSCOW BASED, SOME TRAVEL TO REGIONS
REQUIREMENTS
* Citizen of the Russian Federation
* Proven administrative/managerial skills
* Advanced degree (kandidat or Master's) in Law, Education or related
field preferred
* Thorough knowledge of Russian legal system, esp. civil law and
'commercial law'
* Thorough knowledge of Russian public education system and in-service
teacher training (povyshenie kvalifikatsii)
* High School teaching experience a plus
* Familiarity with sociological research (qualitative and quantitative) a
plus
* Computer literate with ability to WRITE WELL in Russian
* Knowledge of English a plus
* Ability to work hard and efficiently essential
Should be personable, tactful, skilled in negotiating and dealing with
officials at various levels
