CHIEF OF PARTY

Counterpart International, Inc., a nonprofit international development
organization, seeks a Chief of Party (COP) for a 2 year assignment in
Moscow, Russia. DUTIES: the COP will have primary responsibility for
implementation, coordination and supervision of all program components
including training, technical and financial assistance; supervision of
consultants, local and expat staff; close cooperation with USAID and
international and local PVOs; and preparation of workplans,
assessments, evaluations and program reports. REQUIRES: over 10 years
of program management experience; excellent communication and
organizational skills; proven leadership skills; knowledge of the
Russian language; living and working experience in Russia or the
former Soviet Union; experience working on USAID-funded projects; and
cultural sensitivity and ability to work well as member of team. Send

assignment in Moscow, Russia. DUTIES: develop and maintain financial
systems; prepare financial reports; advise partner NGOs on developing
and maintaining systems for disbursing and monitoring seed grants to
local NGOs; maintain project accounts; provide training on financial
management and accounting to Russian NGOs. REQUIRES: degree in
financial management, accounting or a related field; 5 years
experience in financial management or accounting; extensive financial
management and accounting training experience; proficiency in Russian
language; cultural sensitivity and ability to work well as member of
team. PERFERS: experience working in the former Soviet Union; and
