Dear friends!
The name of our organization is "DANA". It is a women's, non-governmental,
non-profit, public organization in Mykolaiv region.
Problems of women lie within the ranges of our interests. They are-
women's leadership, women in business, elimination of violence against
women and girls, trade by women, women's activity in society, and
lobbying the laws as to women's rights.
The truth is that our work is very hard. For example, the terms
"sexual solicitation" and "sexual compulsion" are not defined in
Ukrainian legislation. Negative attitudes to non-violence is typical
for our mass-media and even for lawyers. The positive resolution to such
problems takes about 30 years without your support and experience.
The more so as the Ukrainian women's movement is too weak and
has the minor support in Ukraine.
Dear friends, the contacts with You, Your precious experience
are very necessary for us. We have active projects, a lot of desire
and energy. We are ready to work a lot.
We hope for kind, honest and business-like relations with you.
