The Institute for East-West Christian Studies, Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL
recently published a theme issue of their quarterly newsletter, the _East-West
Church & Ministry Report_, on the role of Christian women in contemporary
post-Soviet society. The 16-page newsletter includes 12 articles written by
protestant Christian women in the former Soviet Union about their faith and
lives. Both a print edition and an e-mail edition are available.

The 70-page book, _Rol' khristianki v sovremennom obshchestve_ [The Role of a
Christian Woman in Contemporary Society], which provides the basis for this
theme issue on women and evangelism, includes 28 articles written by women in
