The organizers of the International Conference "Problems of Integration of
Academic and Practical Psychology" at Samara, Russia invite you to
participate in the conference.
We would like OD specialists to take part in the conference as well as
specialists in psychoanalysis (Freudian or Jungian), humanistic approach,
family therapy, psychologists specializing in drug dependency,
psychologists-methodologists.
We are ready to pay for your stay (accommodation and meals) in Samara and
you should not have to pay the registration fee. The only payment is the
ticket to come to Samara. And there is the requirement to send an abstract
and to make a report at the conference.

(June 27 - July 1, 1998)
Purpose of the conference: discussion of general problems of the
present-day practical psychology and of the problems of integration of
American and European psycho-therapeutic models into Russian psychological
culture
Publication of abstracts: abstracts should be presented no later than May
1, 1998. The size of the publication should not exceed I printed page in
Russian and English (using any of the following word processing software:
Word 95, Lexicon, MS-DOS editor). Abstracts should be sent to the following

Accommodation: The conference will take place and the participants will be
accommodated in a comfortable hotel in Samara green area. The cost of
accommodation is 120-200 denominated rubles per night. Discounted rates for
students are available.

Conference starting time: noon, June 27
Problems of development of Russian psychological culture will be discussed
at the Conference with the participation of leading Russian and foreign
specialists.
The following round-table discussions are scheduled: "Practical
psychologists in Russia as a social phenomenon" , "Academic and practical
psychology: problems of integration and specialists training"; symposium
"Present-day Russian Psychological Culture"; creative workshops on major
trends in practical psychology will be held.
The work at the Conference will be carried out in the following sections:
