Subject: 2 Jobs at Center for Citizen Initiatives
The Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP), a modern-day variation on the
historic Marshall Plan Technical Assistance program carried out in
post-World War II Europe between 1946 and 1954, concentrates on rebuilding
production in Russia by bringing non-English speaking Russian business
people to the US for intensive study in multiple US production sites for
one month. Delegates visit approximately fifteen companies in their
industry sub-sector, analyze and document each day's learning and prepare
themselves to be trainers of producers or leaders upon their return.
As with all CCI programs, PEP aims to empower citizens, not officials to
take responsibility for societal change.
The Productivity Enhancement Program is currently seeking qualified
candidates to fill one Program Officer-Marketer position and one Program
Officer-Facilitator/Interpreter Coordinator position.
Non-local applicants please note that Center for Citizen Initiatives is a
not-for-profit organization and cannot pay for re-location or any costs
incurred during the interview process, including travel and lodging. First
interviews can be arranged via telephone, but second interviews must take
place in person at the Center for Citizen Initiatives in San Francisco.
