              Operations Assistant/Interpreter
                         (Seasonal)

Description: Magna C, Inc. hires seasonal personnel to assist with
operations in its fish processing plants and vessel operations in Russia
in several capacities in order to provide training, quality control
management and other technical services functions to its Russian
affiliates and partners. The position of Operations Assistant/Interpreter
is offered for seasonal contracts for periods of two to three months
during operating seasons. The following sections describe the requirements
and activities of the position.

Job Requirements:

Candidates for this position must possess a working knowledge of the
Russian language, both written and spoken equivalent to four years of
college Russian.

The position is a seasonal one, in which selected candidates will work at
fish processing sites in Russia or on Russian vessels contracted to joint
operations. The position requires ability to be flexible about working and
living conditions and adaptability to remote area environments. Extreme
weather conditions are often part of the working environment. Ability to
effectively interrelate to Russians in a working context is a must.

One of the main focuses of the position is teaching Russian personnel how
to perform tasks and adapt to methods of fishing and processing that are
new to them. Teaching of quality control functions and international
documentation processes is a major part of daily task.

A variety of other tasks are required in this position. Operations
Assistant/Interpreters are instrumental in solving technical problems of
the enterprises to which they are assigned since often Russian specialists
are working on imported equipment and parts are often needed from abroad,
or consultations with non-Russian manufacturers, etc. In general,
assistance in incorporating the requirements of the world market and
quality standards into the production process, adapting handling and
fishing methods, maintenance and other skill adaptation tasks are the
primary focus of this position. Ability to find creative solutions to
problems is an important asset in this position.

Living in a company hotel or apartment with other foreign or Russian
co-workers is the setting for this position. Long periods of time away
from normal communications links with the outside world and immersion in
Russian language and culture are the environment of this position.

Other Requirements

Successful cadidates must be available for international travel
assignments, have a valid passport and ability to obtain Russian visa. Any
previous experience in Russia is helpful. A valid driver�s license is also
required. Any additional special skills or management experience will be
taken into consideration in this position.

Benefits/Compensation

Salary is based on per diem and production bonuses, taking into
consideration length of employment, special skills and language ability.

Contracts are from two to three months and may be repeated with
appropriate break between contract periods. Transportation to and from
employment site are paid by employer provided that employee completes his
or her contract. In the event of pre-term departure at request of employee
return expense will be for employee�s account. Room and board are provided
by employer.
