*******MOST Has Taken Up Its Activities*********
We are a group of young lawyers with a special interest in human
rights. Recently we have founded MOST ("Menschenrechtsprojekt
Osteuropa"--East European Human Rights Project). We offer seminars on
the European Convention on Human Rights.
Our motivation is that human rights are protected by law but too often
disregarded in practice. One of the reasons for this appears to be
that there is still a lack of expert knowledge on the legal substance
of human rights as well as on procedural requirements. Our intention
is to contribute to the dissemination of such knowledge by giving
courses and seminars on the European Convention on Human Rights, in
particular on the enforcement procedure laid down in it.
Such seminars could be given to non-governmental organizations and
lawyers, but also to academics, judges and government officials. We
offer our particular co-operation to human rights non-governmental
organizations in Central and Eastern Europe.
If you are interested in organizing a seminar on the protection of human
rights in Europe, please contact us. A more detailed description of our
project is also available.
Yours sincerely,
Bettina Giesecke
