WELCOME TO VORONEZH STATE UNIVERSITY!
Voronezh State University is pleased to invite you to attend the 1999
Summer Courses of Russian language and Russian Area Studies. Semester and
academic year stays are also available. The specially planned curriculum
lets you study individually or in small group Russian phonetic and
intonation, grammar and composition, improve your conversational skills.
You may attend classes in literature, cultural studies, history, politics
and folk art.
Courses are offered for all levels - from the beginners to advanced
students. Classes for the beginners are given in English. Schedule is
built around your needs and abilities. You can chose 2-4-6-8 weeks courses
with 18 to 30 and up tutorial hours per week.
You will be met in the Moscow International Airport and accompanied to
Voronezh by overnight train. The summer program may include 2-4 days field
trips to Moscow and to the historic "Golden Ring" cities with their
unforgetable beauty, ancient charm and unique architecture. You may also
combine your studies with the relaxation in one of resort ares within
20-30 minutes by car from Voronezh.
Voronezh is an old picturesque city with population over 1 mln. located in
the heart of Russia on a well traveled highway "Moscow -Rostov" about 350
miles south of Moscow. People are friendly, generous and warm, and they
are proud of region's historical and cultural heritage.
You may get the opportunity to live in Russian family and enjoy its
wonderful hospitality or stay at the Voronezh University Dormitories.
Apartment's rent is also available.
