Public Sector Program Officer 
The Eurasia Foundation, a nonprofit grantmaking foundation supporting the
NIS, seeks a program associate or program officer for its Washington, DC
headquarters office. S/he reviews grant requests, makes recommendations on
grant decisions, and monitors grant-funded projects in public administration
and civil society. The program officer also works with other program staff
in Washington and in the field to develop new programs in those
concentrations and supports outreach activities. The program associate will
also be expected to develop programmatic expertise in one or more program
concentrations.
Applicants should possess a graduate degree in a relevant field such as
economics, political science, international affairs, or area studies.
Russian and English language fluency is required, as is work or study
experience in the NIS of five years. The Foundation seeks candidates with
excellent writing skills and analytical ability for a challenging position
with growth potential. Occasional field travel is required.
Salary commensurate with experience, good benefits.
