A recent note to the ISWorld list is presented below. It seems that
journals published by the Association of Information Systems (AIS)
are available without charge to libraries [overseas] that satisfy the
criterion identied in the announcement. I am forwarding the
announcement as received. Perhaps access to these journals will be of
interest to universities represented by some of our list members.

Free Subscriptions--Journals from the Association of
			Information Systems (AIS)
At its December meeting, the Association of Information Systems (AIS)
Executive Committee agreed that all university libraries in countries
not listed in the World Bank's list of high income economies (see
http://www.worldbank.org/data/databytopic/class.htm#High_income)
should be granted free subscriptions to the Communications of AIS
(http://cais.aisnet.org/) and the Journal of AIS
(http://jais.aisnet.org/).
Libraries which satisfy the criterion should contact Jennifer Davis
([email protected]) of the AIS office.
Questions related to this policy should be directed to Rick Watson
([email protected]) Interim Vice-President for Communications.
