NGO Green Earth (GE) is a non-profit, non-political, non-governmental organisation. The main goal of Green Earth is to motivate and assist people and improved environmental protection and sustainable development. Green Earth was established in November, 1994.

 Green Earth consists of 250 members: scientists and professors from the University, teachers, energy experts, policymakers, young specialists, businessmen and students.

 Objectives:

 Since 1996 GE is a member of European Environmental Bureau (EEB); Youth and Environment In Europe (YEE); International Engineering Association and International Solar Energy Society (ISES). Since 1995 we have organized and coordinated several Regional and International projects. In 1995 we coordinated a regional project: Use of Solar Energy at the Heat Water Supply. Between 1996 and 2001 we organized international projects annually together with UN/ECE. We organized and published papers from the conference �Energy and Environment�. We have published 9 books. 

In 1999 we participated in an international 18-month project: Publishing Transcaucasian Ecological Electronic Bulletin in Internet. In this project participated NGO from Armenia �Environmental Survival� and from Azerbaijan �Children�s Union of Azerbaijan�. Funded by OSI Assistance Foundation.

In 1999 November there was a Georgia-Azerbaijan joint project: �Ecoslet ALAZANI," funded by ISAR-Azerbaijan and Horizonti Foundation of Georgia. From Azerbaijan participated NGO �Kavkaz�. Through this project we made assessment of Alazani river problems, some needs and potential solutions; organized in the region of Kachi (Azerbaijan) 6-day seminars and workshops in water management�in which participated 60 youth.

 In 2000 we coordinated Georgia-Azerbaijan joint project: Voice of Caspian Sea. Funded by USAID--Central Asia. From Azerbaijan participate NGO �Kavkaz�. Through this project, we provide public awareness campaign;  make water management; assessment of water resources problems, needs and potential solutions.

Participate at the NATO programe, project name: Flow Scale effective Bio-reactor for Production of Gaz, Heat and Electricity in Georgian Farms. Participate together with Stabile ISOTOPE Institute.  

In 2000 and 2001 implemented project �Forest Action�, funded by mobile phone company �Geocell� � under this project we planted 15,000 trees in Kakheti, and this event was nominated in France (Cannes) at the GSM World Congress. 

In 2001 co-ordinate project �Development of Eco-Tourism at South Caucasus�, participate NGO from Armenia �Hayots Dprots� and Azerbaidjan �KAVKAZ�. Funded by Eurasia Foundation. Through this project at the river Debed, we provide public awareness campaign; make water management; assessment of water resources problems, needs and potential solutions.
