The Foreign Policy Association, a non-profit, non-partisan global affairs
organization, is seeking an Intern to assist in the development and
marketing of the FPA.org website. This position will require a minimum of
10-15 hours per week.
The Intern will work on the FPA web team. The Intern will learn how to
promote a website, what role a website has in a non-profit environment and
how the web can provide direct e-mail, outreach and promotion support
services for a non-profit. In addition, Interns participate in our events
and receive complimentary publications.
This Internship can be performed in our offices or virtually.  This
internship is designed to be for the full academic year. Extensions are
possible.
Duties will include:
7        Assist with content management of the Global Job board
7        Track placement on search engines
7        Promote external links to site and drive traffic to the site
7        Support Campus Campaign
7        Analysis of site statistics
7        Other tasks related to site marketing as necessary
Necessary skills include:
7         Strong organizational skills
7         Excellent writing and communication abilities
7         Ability to work independently
7         Previous marketing or communications experience would be a plus.
This Internship is unpaid.
