> Development Unit (LD)

> Leadership Development (LD) Interns will be responsible for one or
> more of the following:
> - Assisting LD staff with project management
> - Assisting with development and updating of PR materials for LD,
> including reviewing old project reports and materials and compiling
> "accomplishments to date" documents for countries/projects; and
> updating project fact sheets on Winrock's website.
> - Research donors in each country and prepare "donor priorities"
> documents to be used for future fundraising.
> - Conducting Internet research for materials relevant to LD projects
> and clients, and send those to field and/or post on website.
> - Preparing PR materials in French.
> - Cataloging and maintaining the LD library/resource room
> - Translation of a variety of documents (languages - Russian,
> Ukrainian, French)

> Requirements for LD Interns:
> - Good writing, organizational and communication skills
> - At least junior standing in an undergraduate program; graduate
> students and recent graduates are also encouraged to apply
> - Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint skills
> - Demonstrated interest in the regions, international development,
> gender and development, women's leadership, women's economic
> empowerment
> - Languages skills preferred (Russian, Ukrainian, French)

> We are interested in providing interns with an intellectually
> challenging and substantive opportunity, although interns will be
> responsible for some administrative tasks. Interns will work up to 20
> hours a week. Winrock will work with students to certify internships
> for academic credit.
