The Foreign Policy Association (http://www.fpa.org), a non-profit,
non-partisan global affairs organization, is seeking an Intern. This
position will require a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.
The Intern will work on the FPA web team. You will do a variety of tasks,
including research, writing, site promotion and basic marketing tasks. You
will learn what role a website has in a non-profit environment and how the
web can provide direct e-mail, outreach and promotion support services for a
non-profit. In addition, Interns participate in our events and receive
complimentary publications.
This Internship is located in New York City.
This internship is designed to be for the one semester. Extensions
are possible.
Duties will include:
-Research topics and write non-partisan guides on a variety of topics
-Act as Assistant Editor for the Job Board
-Support Campus Campaign
-Other tasks as necessary
Necessary skills include:
-Strong organizational skills
-Excellent writing and communication abilities
-Ability to work independently
-Previous writing or communications experience would be a plus
-Demonstrated interest in international affairs
This Internship is unpaid.
