1. Background:  The Social Union "Women of Villages" Republic of
Tajikistan (SUWVRT) was founded in 1999 after the social war in the
Republic of Tajikistan with the purpose of to help and to assist the
poor and disable women and teen-ager girls. The (SUWVRT) is
registered in the Justice Ministry of Tajikistan, the registration
Number is 529. The (SUWVRT) has begun its work since then.
2. Goals and Purpose: According to the license which (SUWVRT) has
from the Justice Ministry of Tajikistan we can achieve many big
programs of rights, culture, economic "like handcrafts, weavings,
sewing, and carpet weaving, tailoring, etc" in different parts of
Tajikistan.  The tasks which we have done so far are the seminars
under the name of "women and election", forming the training groups
of "gold embroidery and local handicrafts". As it is registered in
the article of association, this Union is non-governmental
organization, which can achieve its activities among disable women
and teen-ager girls especially in women and teen-ager girls' problems
and affairs.
The programs, which we have on hand, we suggested to UN organizations
which are located in Dushanbe Tajikistan, they helped us in some
kinds of cases, but it was too little.  Chiefly, (SUWVRT) needs a
permanent sponsor or donor that supports and assists the (SUWVRT) in
different situations or conditions. We are completely sure that our
application won't be refused by you, as you have assisted and
supported the other women and teen-ager girls' organizations in
different countries.
In addition, our organization (SUWVRT) is the first women and
teen-ager girls' NGO, which has started its activities in the
Republic of Tajikistan but this NGO couldn't achieve the other plans
because of not having enough budget. If you help, assist and support
us we are ready to do every kind of collaboration with the donor or
sponsor.

The future plan of (SUWVRT)
1. Establishment of training courses such as ancestors alphabet,
English and computer for defenseless young girls in the villages and
regions which are far from the center (city).
2. Establishment of knitting programs such as carpet-weaving, gold
embroidery, tailoring, and needle-lace and so on. This measure is
useful in two points. The first one is this that the women and young
girls will be involve in work and they son earn some money from this
way. The second one is this that we can brisk up our national
handicrafts Internationally.
3. Establishment of maternity clinics in far villages and regions,
which their people, cant come to city for two cause. One is not
having enough money and another is being for from the city.
4. Taking legal and health training to make known the rights and
tasks of women and young teen-ager girls.
5. Establishment of training courses such as art, calligraphy, fine
arts etc between women and teen-ager girls of villages.
6. Establishment of training course such as cooking, home decorating
etc. between women and teen-ager girls of villages.
7. Establishment of training courses to guide the sexuality for women
and teen-ager girls of villages.
8. Establishment of constructional programs in far villages and
regions. Such as construction of bridges, viaduct, roads, etc. in the
villages and regions.
9. Establishment of watering programs for dry field of far villages
and regions.
10. Establishment of renewal (rebuilding) programs such as repairing
(rebuilding) of schools, hospitals etc. in the far villages of
Republic of Tajikistan.
