This fall, the Foreign Policy Association is looking for a new content manager. In this key role, you will be responsible for:
Developing commentary and analysis of foreign policy issues for publication in newsletters and web features.
Conceptualizing and developing new content features and products to build community and increase user loyalty.
Reviewing and publishing internal content on the web.
Copy editing all areas of the site for content and style.
Developing and maintaining content partnerships.
In addition, the content manager will be involved in all aspects of the strategic growth and development of the site.
Qualifications of the successful candidate include:
Strong writing and editing skills. At least two years' editing or professional writing experience required. Person must be detail-oriented and organized. A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for your work is necessary. A working knowledge of the internet, key international affairs sites, trends, and issues is required. Excellent people skills a must. A degree in international affairs or journalism (or relevant work experience) is required. Prior HTML/web experience is a plus.
