Australian student volunteering with an Izhevsk NGO support center. The
organization has an excellent website at www.mitra.udm.ru/icnko/, which is
really worth a look for those who read Russian. An English-language
translation of some of the center's materials that Scott sent as an
attachment did not come through, but it should be available to anybody who

Fellow list members:
My name is Scott Goodison, and I am an Australian university student
currently undertaking volunteer work
for a non-government organisation--'the Interregional Center for Support of
Non-Government Organisations and Civil Initiatives'--in Izhevsk, Russia.
This organisation seeks to establish dialogue and partnerships with similar
organisations overseas in order to facilitate communication of knowledge,
experience, methodology, etc. By doing so, this organisation will assist in
investing in and developing the nonprofit sector in Russia.
My task for this organisation focuses on providing information and
assistance in the sphere of non-government organisation support, and
attempting to create such a partnership between this organisation and an
international like nonprofit organisation, with whom we could develop
projects and cooperation in this sphere.
If you could provide me with any information regarding your organisations
and their activities, I would be most appreciative, and I hope that we can
engage in further communication.  Enclosed with this email is a brief
description (translated into English) of this organisation and its
