Subject: seeking clothing donations for Chechen orphan refugee children in
    Ingushetia
Dear friends and colleagues,
I am posting the below on behalf of Natasha Nelidova, director of the
Moscow-based refugee organization, A Warm Home. She just returned
from a trip to Ingushetia.
Six children aged 3-14 (most of them are aged 9-14; most are girls)
urgently need winter clothes and shoes (used or new; shoes in sizes
37-38). They are living together in one tent in the Sputnik Tent
Camp, **completely unsupervised.** No one is taking care of them. For
even these extreme life circumstances, I understand that this is
unheard of.
One of the children also has TB.
Your donations would be most welcome.
Donations of vitamins and sleeping bags would also be appreciated.
If you would like to donate (and speak Russian), contact Nina
Yakhyaeva at +7 (095) 495-3170. English speakers can respond via
email or contact me at +7 (095) 426-3532 (leave a message) or page me
at 974-2333 sub. 426-3532.
thanks for your support,
Raffi Aftandelian
