development agency working for the well-being of children, by supporting
locally led initiatives that strengthen families and communities in
overcoming poverty and the protection of children's rights.  CCF programs
seek to be holistic, embracing health, education, nutrition, and livelihood
interventions that protect, nurture and develop children.
Regional Grants Development Manager - Europe
Based in Geneva, Switzerland

Responsibilities
� Develop and coordinate grant fundraising capacity activities in Eastern
Europe and in the Balkans;
� Lead and  coordinate Country Office (Albania, Belarus, Kosovo, Ukraine)
grant proposal development and submission;
� In collaboration with Country Directors,  liaise with relevant government
donor agencies, private foundations, leading NGOs, and international
agencies;
� Establish relevant strategic alliance/partnership with donors and civil
society organizations;
� Supervise the execution of large grants received from international
donors;
� Represent Country Offices at the regional thematic and donor conferences;
� Promote and strengthen awareness of CCF implementation capabilities and
quality programs for children among international donors.
Position Requirements:
�  Minimum 5-7 years proven track record in successful acquisition of grant
funding from major international donor agencies;
�  Knowledge of international donors/funding trends;
�  Knowledge of basic international donor regulations, terminology and
proposal formats;
�  Native English, preferably fluency in other European or Eastern European
languages;
�  Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English;
�  Cultural sensitivity & experience living in Eastern Europe or the
Balkans;
�  Excellent coordination, facilitation & negotiation skills;
�  Team worker & pragmatic problem-solver;
�  Computer literate--word processing, spreadsheets, internet;
�  Readiness to travel about 50% of the time.
