Dear CivilSoc members:
As you are aware, in recent days there has been an unusually large volume of
e-mails containing viruses. It is the policy of CivilSoc always to send
messages in simple text form, and never to send messages with attachments,
since these are often the vehicle for inserting a virus into your computer.
Unfortunately, yesterday I forwarded unknowingly a message that had an
attachment, and probably, a virus. The subject header read: "Financial
Support for Graduate Students and Faculty Conducting Research in the Former
Soviet Union and East-Central Europe."
Please do not open that message or any message on the CivilSoc list that
carries an attachment. My apologies for this mistake.
