1. Research Associate/Senior Research Associate - Law
The European Centre for Minority Issues is hoping to appoint for a period of
two years an expert in international and minority law with a minimum of
three years of professional experience. Regional expertise in one of ECMI's
areas of operation would be an advantage. A relevant law degree is required.
The successful candidate must speak English fluently and will support ECMI's
research/legal publication and action-oriented projects. The position is
based at ECMI headquarters in Flensburg, Germany.

2. Research Associate / Senior Research Associate
The European Centre for Minority Issues is hoping to appoint for a period of
two years a number of Research Associates/Senior Research Associates, with
regional experience relating to:
a) Balkans
b) East-Central Europe
c) CIS
The regional competence should be matched by competence in the fields of
expertise in ethnic or minority issues, political systems design,
reconciliation or conflict transformation theory.
Applicants should have at least a Ph.D. degree or a MA/MSc degree with at
least two years of relevant research experience in a relevant field.
The successful candidates must speak English fluently and will provide
support for ECMI's action oriented projects and contribute to the Centre's
research output. The positions are based at ECMI headquarters in Flensburg,
Germany.
