USAID's Bureau for Europe and Eurasia, Office of Democracy, Governance and
Social Transition is pleased to announce the publication of the 2002 NGO
Sustainability Index for Central and Eastern Europe and Eurasia.  This is
the sixth edition of this comprehensive and comparative study of the
strength and viability of the NGO sectors in 28 countries in Central and
Eastern Europe and Eurasia.  The Index measures seven dimensions deemed
critical to NGO sustainability:

*	Organizational capacity
*	Financial viability
*	Advocacy
*	Service provision
*	Infrastructure
*	Public image
