Subject: Albanian NGOs
Dear CCSI,
I am project coordinator for the Albanian Civil Society Foundation,
a Danish government-funded foundation to support Albanian NGOs. The
Albanian Civil Society Foundation is located in Tirana and has an
Albanian board and staff. It publishes a catalogue of Albanian NGOs
and has awarded grants to 60 Albanian organizations in all sectors
during 1995.
Could you please direct me to sites where I might publicize the
activities of this foundation, the only one of its kind in Albania?
As there are as yet no Internet or WWW facilities in Albania, I could
only offer a description of the foundation's NGO support activities
and services, and provide fax and phone numbers.
Any information you could provide as to how to publicize the foundation's
activities would be helpful.
I have sent out a message on Albnet and Albania News, but that is about it
so far.
