BANNER EXCHANGE FOR NGO*s

A banner is a small advertisement of your WWW page in the
Internet. It is usually a small rectangular picture advertising you
in the global network. The aim of the banner exchange is to draw to
your page the attention of as many Internet users as possible.
The exchange works in the following way:

              1.You create a banner (a small picture - advertisement)
for your Web-site.
2.You transfer the picture together with the address of
your site to the banner exchange system.
3.Next, you put the short code you will receive from the
project coordinator in any place on your page.

Then, your page will present banners of other
non-governmental Web-sites and your banner will be shown on the pages
belonging to the other non-governmental organisations. Anyone
interested in your banner can click on it and get to your site.
Banner exchange works according to the 1:1 principle, which
means that if you show somebody*s banner once, your banner will be
shown once as well.

This project is different than the other banner exchange
systems because this particular system works for non-commercial and
non-governmental organisations and, of course, is free of charge for
all who take part in the exchange.

The idea of the project is to help unite all the pages of
the non-commercial and non-governmental organizations into a kind of
network.

To join the project, you should:

              1.Represent a non-commercial and non-governmental
organization.
2.Create your own banner or order it from one of the
Web-shops whose services are easily available nowadays. Your banner
is required to be a picture in gif or jpg format and of 486x60 pixel
size. It cannot take more than 16 KB.
3.Register your banner in the banner exchange system.
4.After you have registered your banner, the project
coordinator will send you a short code which you should add to your
page.

That*s it. As you can see, it is all very simple.

           Register your new banner.
