from the New Independent States of the Former Soviet Union (INTAS)
By funding high quality scientific research, INTAS is helping to create a
new era of mutually beneficial cooperation between scientists from
INTAS member states and the New Independent States of the former
Soviet Union (NIS).
As of November 3, proposals will be accepted for research projects and

Union. INTAS makes this General Call in conjunction with the following
Joint Calls for Applications: INTAS-Russian Foundation of Basic
Research, INTAS-Belarus, INTAS-Georgia, INTAS-Kazakstan,

Nationale d'Etudes Spatiales. The research subjects to be supported
include among other sciences: Economics, Social Sciences, Humanities,
Environment, Engineering, Energy, Information Technologies and

the number of partners involved in a project or network. A total of 21.8
Million ECU is made available through these programmes.

direct funding to help support more than 1,200 research projects
