Coordinator, U.S.-Russia Environmental Policy-Maker Exchange
The Tahoe-Baikal Institute is a non-governmental organization based in
California and Siberia. The Institute operates university- and
professional-level environmental exchange programs, and conducts a
broad range of research and community-based projects.
The Institute plans to fill the position of Coordinator, U.S.-Russia
Environmental Policy-Maker Exchange, in January, 1998.
Coordinator, U.S.-Russia Environmental Policy-Maker Exchange
Position runs from January through August, 1998. The coordinator will
be responsible for developing and organizing an exchange for Russian and
American environmental policy-makers. Applicants should have
strong leadership, networking and logistical skills, and should have
experience in program development and working with higher levels of
government, in Russia and/or the U.S. Strong Russian language skills
highly desireable. Position location may be flexible, will require travel
to California and Russia. Compensation $16,000 from January through August,
with other terms of employment negotiable.
