University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy
The Eurasia Foundation invites proposals from economists interested in serving
as visiting faculty in the M.A. Program in Economics at the University of
"Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" in Kyiv, Ukraine. During the 1999-2000 academic year
courses will be taught in the following subjects:
--Microeconomic Theory
--Macroeconomic Theory
--Statistics and Econometrics
--Public Economics
--Industrial Organization
--Market Structure and Regulation
--Financial Institutions and Markets
--Economics of Transition
--International Economics
--Economic Development
--Economics and Labor Markets
--Economic Growth
Lectures and course materials will be in English. Instruction will be organized
in five eight-week mini-terms per year (roughly September-October;
November-December; January-February; March-April; and May-June). Teaching load
is two courses. Visiting faculty will receive competitive compensation in the
form of a stipend in dollars, housing accommodation, and transportation.

field(s) in which the applicant would like to offer courses; describe the level,
scope, and possible texts; and indicate in which mini-term(s) the applicant
would be available.
