Dear Ms. Trummal,
I'd like to recommend you to contact several specialists and experts:
- Mr. Vladimir Yakimets, senior researcher of the System Analyses
Institute, Moscow, - he is well-known expert on the third sector in Russia
and also a specialist on economic development and the role of the NGOs in
it. I think he can suggest some Western specialists. His e-mail:
[email protected]
- Mr. Alexander Sungurov, director of the Politological center "Strategy" in
St. Petersburg - the Center specializes on the civil society issues. e-mail
of the Center: [email protected]
- If you can contact straightly Mr. Helmut Anheier from London School of
Economics who participated in the Johns Hopkins' projects, too, and as I
know (I heard his brilliant lecture in Germany - end of year 2000 - with the
latest data from his comparative analyses of CSOs in Europe, USA and Asia
from economical point of view) - he is the expert whom you need.
Unfortunately I don't have his e-mail, but maybe it'll be not so difficult
to find out.
The best regards
                                        Anna Skvortsova,
                                        Information and Analyses Center for
Social NGOs
                                        St. Petersburg, Russia
