Management Systems International (MSI) is an international development
consulting firm headquartered in Washington DC. MSI is currently seeking
two Romanian Local Democracy and Governance Analyst for a proposed USAID
project.
1) S/he should have at least 5 years of experience in local government
development and/or management in Romania. S/he should have a thorough
understanding of Romania's central and local governments, in addition to
knowledge of financial, municipal service and strategic management for local
governments and decision-making procedures and systems in the field of local
government. S/he should be fluent in Romanian and have a good working
knowledge of English with the ability to write well.
2)S/he must have at least 5 years of experience in the field of local
government and organizational development. S/he should have a good
understanding of economic development, strategic management and citizen
participatory approaches to local government decision-making processes.
S/he should be fluent in Romanian and have good working knowledge of English
with the ability to write well.
The assignment would take place in the spring of 2002 for approximately 3
weeks.
